Frontend were selected from a number of specialist design agencies to design Barclays Corporate Internet Banking application in the UK. As part of our User Centred Design method Frontend conducted extensive user requirement gathering, user testing and acceptance testing across the UK. Prior to any design and development Frontend evaluated target users needs, working habits and office environments. This guided the design of a simple, useable interface that conformed to the requirements of complex business banking rules. Interaction and visual design concepts were developed based on research and Barclays business requirements. Frontend also developed demos of possible future functionality such as their real time currency trading application built in Java Swing. Prototypes of the new design were developed and validated with customers through iterative user testing; ensuring new designs met customer needs before costly development work went ahead. Frontend provided interaction & screen layout wireframes along with visual design guidelines and client templates; ensuring easy, accurate and speedy implementation by the Barclays development team. |
Testimonials
We selected Frontend from a list of several European companies providing Human Factors and Usability services. Their high level of expertise in the areas of Accessibility and Interface design for both hardware and software products was central to our decision. What pleased us most was the high level of knowledge, enthusiasm and team work that the Frontend engineers brought to the project.
