Design & Development - Galileo Surgical Devices

Frontend worked with Galileo Surgical on the design and development of several MIS and laproscopic devices with Galileo Surgical. We have worked closely with the Surgeon/Director of Galileo, Patrick Leahy to develop simple, easy to use devices that speed up medical procedures and reduce recovery times.

In our work on medical equipment Frontend have drawn on our background in Industrial Design and Ergonomics. Our practical understanding of mechanical design and engineering materials has complemented our understanding of usability techniques such as task analysis and user testing.

Frontend consultants are also familiar with requirements for FDA and EU approval and the process of acquiring and protecting medical patents.
