Semaphore - Catalogue Builder Application

Frontend worked with Semaphore on the design and development of their web based resource management and catalogue builder application. The system allows clients to control centralised content & print media resources online. Third parties can also access comprehensive databases of images and copy online. It provides workflow & layout for production, version control and localisation.

As an initial starting point, Frontend worked with Semaphore on the definition of functional requirements, ensuring they addressed user needs. From this we produced interaction design wireframes that defined task flows and screen layouts. The visual design allowed rebranding of the user interface for Semaphore’s individual end customers. Frontend also provided xHTML templates, implementation guidelines and support.

The improved application resulted in significantly reduced support costs. In addition the professional look and feel increased product sales.
